Help Center### Step-by-Step Guide on Enhancing Windows Display to Zoom In or Out
If you want to enhance your Windows display by zooming in or out, whether for better visibility or to see details more clearly, follow these simple steps. This guide will help you adjust the display settings effectively.
WARNING: Altering your Windows display settings may cause unwanted side-effects such as images and text being cut off and unreadable, blurred or stretched images and more.
#### Method 1: Using Magnifier Tool
1. **Open the Magnifier**:
- Press the `Windows` key and the `+` (plus) key simultaneously to open the Magnifier tool. This will zoom in on your screen.
2. **Zoom In and Out**:
- To zoom in further, keep pressing the `Windows` key and the `+` (plus) key.
- To zoom out, press the `Windows` key and the `-` (minus) key.
3. **Adjust Magnifier Settings**:
- Once the Magnifier is open, you can adjust its settings. Click on the gear icon (⚙️) in the Magnifier toolbar to access options like zoom level, view mode (full screen, lens, or docked), and more.
4. **Close the Magnifier**:
- To close the Magnifier, simply press the `Windows` key and the `Esc` key.
#### Method 2: Changing Display Settings
1. **Open Display Settings**:
- Right-click on your desktop and select `Display settings` from the context menu.
2. **Adjust Scale and Layout**:
- In the Display settings window, look for the `Scale and layout` section.
- Here, you can change the scaling percentage. Common options include 100%, 125%, 150%, and 175%. Choose a higher percentage to zoom in and a lower percentage to zoom out.
3. **Change Resolution**:
- Scroll down to the `Display resolution` section. You can select a different resolution that may provide a better view. Higher resolutions will show more detail but may make items smaller.
4. **Apply Changes**:
- After making your adjustments, click on `Apply`. You may need to confirm the changes if prompted.
5. **Revert Changes if Necessary**:
- If the new settings don’t work for you, you can revert to the previous settings by clicking on `Revert` within the 15 seconds window after applying changes.
