Bubbles Instead of Icons

If one or more of your computers displays bubbles instead of icons in the upper-left corner of Kennel Connection, it typically indicates that the workstation has temporarily lost communication with the server due to a network interruption. This is a network-related issue and is not caused by Kennel Connection.

When this occurs, most features of Kennel Connection will continue to function normally. However, the affected workstation will typically be unable to print because it is no longer connected to the server where your Kennel Connection data is stored.

In many cases, this can be resolved by remapping the network drive, which reconnects the workstation to the server. For step-by-step instructions, click HERE to view our article on remapping a network drive.

⚠️ Important: While remapping the network drive, Windows may prompt you for network credentials. These credentials are created when your computers are initially networked and are not managed or accessible by Kennel Connection Support. If you do not know your network credentials, please contact your IT provider or a local computer technician for assistance. KC Support cannot continue troubleshooting until valid network credentials are available.
