Unhandled Exception Error: Out of Memory
If you see the message “Unhandled Exception Error: Out of Memory” in Kennel Connection, do not worry. This is usually quick and easy to resolve.

What This Means
This error does not mean your computer is out of storage space.
It means your computer temporarily ran out of available RAM (Random Access Memory). RAM is the memory your computer uses to actively run programs and complete tasks.
If too many programs are running at the same time, your computer may not have enough available memory for Kennel Connection to complete the action you requested.
How to Fix It
In most cases, a full restart will resolve the issue.
Step 1: Close Kennel Connection
Save your work if possible, then fully close the software.
Step 2: Restart Your Computer
Do a full restart. Do not just log out.
Click on the windows logo, click on power, click restart.

Once your computer comes back on, reopen Kennel Connection and try the task again.
This resolves the majority of “Out of Memory” errors.
If It Happens Again
If the error returns:
-
Close extra programs you are not using
-
Close unnecessary browser tabs
-
Avoid running large reports while many other applications are open
-
Restart your computer if it has been running for several days without a reboot
Keeping the number of open programs to a minimum while using Kennel Connection helps prevent this issue.
