Vaccination warnings help staff quickly identify pets with missing or expired vaccinations before scheduling services, checking pets in, or opening pet profiles. Enabling these warnings can help prevent admission issues, improve compliance with your facility's vaccination requirements, and reduce the risk of overlooking expired records.
Enable Vaccine Warnings on the Schedule
Kennel Connection can display popup warning messages while viewing the schedule.
Navigate to:
File > System Options
Select a module such as:
- Boarding
- Grooming
- Daycare
- Training
- Special Services

Check Show Vaccine Warnings and click Apply.

⚠️ Important Note: This setting is workstation-specific and must be enabled on each computer where you want vaccine warning popups to appear.
Once enabled, Kennel Connection will display warning messages when viewing or navigating the schedule if a pet has missing or expired vaccinations.

You can also display a Vaccination status column directly on the schedule.

Navigate to:

Vacc
Click Apply to save your changes.
When displayed, the Vacc column provides a quick visual indicator of vaccination status.
If the box is checked, the pet has one or more missing or expired vaccinations.
💡 Quick Tip: The Vacc column allows staff to identify vaccination issues at a glance without opening the pet profile.
